What should you say about a delivery?
Confirm the expected time and whether someone needs to sign.
Give only the access instructions the carrier needs, using its official contact channel.
If nobody is home, ask about another attempt or an authorised pickup point.
For a missing or damaged parcel, state what happened and ask the carrier to record the issue.
Four useful delivery distinctions
entrega is the delivery; entrega a domicilio means home delivery.
repartidor or mensajero can mean courier; the word varies by region and company.
punto de recogida is a pickup point. Ask for the location and opening hours separately.
A tracking status is not proof that you personally received a parcel; describe exactly what you can see.
