Useful Spanish distinctions for dog walks
Pasear al perro means to walk the dog. Paseo can mean the walk itself or a stroll.
Correa is widely understood for a leash. Trela is common in Portugal; correa is common in Spain and much of Latin America.
Arnés means harness. Collar means collar; state which equipment to use instead of assuming the terms are interchangeable.
Use a short, direct instruction for safety. A language phrase does not replace a securely attached leash, local leash rules or advice from a qualified trainer.
