Four useful laundry distinctions
lavandería can mean a laundry business or laundry room; lavandería autoservicio makes the self-service meaning explicit.
lavadora is a washing machine and secadora is a tumble dryer.
detergente is detergent; suavizante is fabric softener.
lavado en frío means a cold wash, while ciclo delicado is a delicate cycle.
